Job Responsibilities

• Identify and assist in securing new work by investigating leads.
• Conduct plan and specification reviews for all assigned projects.
• Coordinate and attend bid-job walks.
• Bid preparation to include Invitation to Bid and Solicitation process.
• Qualifies subcontractor and vendor bids.
• Ensure proposals are complete and accurate and include all scopes of work.
• Provides construction means and methods procedures to ensure competitiveness and profitability of all projects.
• Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Project scheduling
• Provide value engineering solutions for all clients to optimize the project budget.
• Possess a firm grasp of design-build construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-years commercial construction management and/or estimating
• Good organization skills
• Computer experience specifically Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Fluent in English both verbally and written
• Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, and commercial strategies
• Customer service driven
• Team oriented
• Professionally ambitious

Wages:

$20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Carpenter

Job Responsibilities

Looking for at least 1 experienced carpenter with diversified skills to join our team. We do all phases of construction and work year-round. Must have own hand tools, license with clean MVR, and reliable transportation. Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team and independently, and be able to follow directions. Pay is based on experience and performance/quality of work.

This is a full-time, hourly position; some nights, weekends, and overnights may be required. Pay is negotiable and based on experience.

Laborer

Job Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
• Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
• Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures.
• Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
• Lubricate, clean, fuel or repair machinery, equipment, or tools.
• Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• Provide assistance to carpenters, equipment operators, and superintendents.
• Maintain pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment.
• Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection.
• Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years of construction experience
• Basic hand tools
• Experience operating power tools

• Ability to read a tape
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to problem-solve construction issues

Wages:

$14.00 – $22.00 per hour
