Mesa County Behavioral Health Facility: Completed Under Budget!
We’re thrilled to share exciting news about a recent project we completed as the general contractor for Mesa County Behavioral Health.
On Friday, Oct. 4, Mesa County Behavioral Health celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated facility at 551 Chipeta Ave. Community leaders, officials, and key partners gathered to acknowledge the crucial expansion of services that will help address the increasing mental health and behavioral care needs of Mesa County residents.
We’re proud to announce that our team completed the renovation for $1.2 million — a full $300,000 under budget!
Project Highlights
- Budget Achievement: Originally allocated $1.5 million for the remodel, our team successfully brought the project to completion under budget, underscoring our commitment to cost-efficiency.
- Project Funding: This renovation was part of a larger $4.5 million grant from the Criminal Justice Early Intervention Program, allocated specifically for projects to expand access to behavioral health care.
- Collaboration & Innovation: The new facility will serve as a hub for behavioral health professionals to collaborate, creating new solutions and strengthening community connections.
Commissioner Janet Rowland remarked on the project’s impact:
“This project is about supporting the mental and emotional well-being of Mesa County, and we’re proud to see it come to life under budget and with long-term impact in mind.”
